Video production budgets can range from $3,000 to $50,000 or more depending on many variables: the length of the end product, the amount of time required for research and script development, the number of production days, the size of the production crew, the use of professional talent, creation of custom music, high end animation and advertising/marketing costs. If you have a fixed amount of money to spend, we can design a production to fit your budget. Conversely, we can calculate the cost based on your production requirements.
| RESEARCH AND SCRIPTWRITING |
Starting with your input about the program's objective and subject matter, we will develop a script or production plan in collaboration with you or someone you designate who is knowledgeable about the project. Depending on the nature of the project, a detailed shooting script may be called for, or, in the case of a documentary, an outline and production plan may be preferable.
We arrange for locations, audition talent, hire additional crew if needed, and schedule shooting days.
Videotaping of the pieces of the program may be accomplished in a day or less, or it may require many days spread over weeks or months, depending on the project.
Digitizing footage into our non-linear editing system, editing the program, recording and adding voiceovers, selecting or composing a music score, adding graphics and titles and polishing the final product are done in our in-house edit suite, according to the script or plan previously agreed upon. You will have opportunities to review progress at each step along the way to make sure your objectives are being met.
We will design and produce labels, box covers and other packaging materials to give your finished product a professional, attention-getting look. We will also provide as many copies of the finished program as you need, on DVD, VHS or other recording format.
